Instant branding in Web 2.0: Bush Shoe Parody

December 16th, 2008 by Nhat Pham.

In Web 2.0 personal brand is about speed. It’s amazing after less than 24 hours of the Bush Shoe incident.

There is already a parody on it. I have a FB friend TJ Walker who capitalize on this & posted this video yesterday. With Web 2.0, Social Networks like Twitter & Facebook, & online video tools, you can now beat Saturday Night Live to the punchline & build personal brands FAST!

Web 2.0 Expo NY: Gary Vaynerchuk (Wine Library): Building Personal Brand Within the Social Media Landscape

Folks wonder why I get so excited about Social Media. Here is one of my social media heroes, Gary Vaynerchuk, doing his keynote @ the Web 2.0 Expo this past year. I was hesitant initially because Gary Vaynerchuck of Wine Library TV has some rather “colorful” language in this. SO YOU ARE FOREWARNED!

I had sent it out to a few folks and got such a positive response, I thought I would finally post it. Gary is at the leading edge of social media in my estimation in building a personal brand within Web 2.0. Enjoy!

Keep up with Google Alerts

December 9th, 2008 by Nhat Pham.

My client found out that someone was talking about him via a blog. He would have love to have known instantaneously. Well he could of via Google Alerts.

People ask me “How do I have time to keep up?” I make the time & using tools like Google Alerts. My name is the big one. You can tag other words in your industry, etc.
