eople have been squatting on domains for years. Now with the popularity of Twitter, there is new opportunity
there are folks squatting Twitter ID’s.
How might this affect you?
Well if you go to register for a twitter account, your
Twitter ID may be taken. Typically Twitter ID’s follow
the formula www.twitter.com/name . Everything from
AMEX to a person’s name has been taken. Like a domain,
this is often the first way someone may look for you on
twitter.
Just like domains were hot in the late 90’s and early 2000’s as virtual real estate, so too has social networking ID’s, paritcualry twitter. Wondering why Twitter? Click here for Twitter Social Networking Best Practices Book.

Vlingo application for iPhone, it is available fo Blackberry, Android & various other devices. Currently, it is only able to update Facebook and Titter for Social Networks via voice command. I expect Vlingo
While this video shows the to expand this to additional Social Networks but in the meantime its still a pretty nice app and will make it a little safer for folks updating on the road because we never text update while we drive
. It will even do voice cammands for Google searches, map directions and much more. Best part, its FREE !
